Francesco Visconti obtained a Ph.D. in Comparative and European Politics from the University of Siena with a thesis on the legislative representation of public opinion policy priorities. He is currently a research fellow in the REScEU project, for which he works on the conduction and analysis of a cross-national mass and elite survey. His main research interests are in the field of comparative politics, focusing especially on legislative politics, public opinion, responsiveness, and policy change. His research appears in the Italian Review of Political Science and in the Italian Journal of Public Policy.Before joining REScEU Francesco held a two-years research fellowship in the ResponsiveGov project based at the University of Leicester.
