Alessandro Pellegata holds a Ph.D. in Political Studies from the University of Milan and he is currently a research fellow in the REScEU project, for which he supervised the conduction of a cross-national mass and elite survey. His main research interests are in the field of comparative politics, focusing especially on electoral competition and government alternation, political representation, public opinion and political corruption. His latest research has appeared in several Italian and international academic journals, such as Contemporary Italian Politics, International Journal of Public Opinion research, International Political Science Review, Italian Review of Political Science, Journal of development Studies, Perspective on European Politics and Society, Social Indicators Research. Before joining REScEU Alessandro held a research fellowship at the University of Siena.
